Catpaper Details Catpaper absorbs and contains liquids: In this demo, Catpaper absorbs red wine and stops it from soaking through. It does the same with urine and vomit.

Catpaper has two surfaces: one absorbent, the other impermeable to liquids.
The absorbent face is waffled which increases the surface area, allowing more liquid to be absorbed more rapidly. Drying is faster too. This surface also helps to collect fur and trap bits of cat litter.	The glossy plastic face is impermeable to liquid. Amazingly, Catpaper absorbs 2.4 fluid ounces per square foot, and none gets through! The penny is for scale.
Catpaper has no odor, and it's easy to clean up after. Just handle it from the plastic side.
